President of the Australian Oriental Calligraphy Society
Master of Studio Art, Sydney College of Arts, USYD
Franz Cheung was
born in Hong Kong in 1956. He has a thorough knowledge of Chinese art
history and performng arts, particular Peking opera. He worked for many
years as a teacher of art and design at high school level after completing
a BA Fine Arts in art history and Certificate of Education at the Chinese
University of Hong Kong. He has also completed a Master
of Studio Art at the Sydney College of Arts, USYD.
Franz specialises in historic periods
and school styles of Chinese artefacts. He is a practising artist and
tutor of ink painting, calligraphy and seal carving. A teacher of calligraphy
and Chinese painting at Macquarie University, Australia, Franz is also
the President of the Australian Oriental Calligraphy Society and tutor
in the NSW Art Gallery workshop.
In 1994, he was named the 'Caran
d' Ache Artist Of the Year. Franz is passionate about communicating
Chinese culture to the next generation. He exams Chinese cultural history
in scripts and artefacts, and investigates the role of traditional arts
in contemporary daily life.

Govender

Keroshin Govender
is a Johannesburg based Digital Media Artist currently working as a
New Media Designer for Cinevation. He studied Digital Media at the College
of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales in Sydney.
While in Sydney, he also got a variety
of experience with Pixelmill films and the Crown & Anchor Printing
Press.After returning to South Africa,
Keroshin worked with a wide range of companies, including Condor VFX
in Cape Town, the Caxton Magazine Group and the Assegai & Javelin
Advertising Agency in Durban.
He now lives in Johannesburg, where
he has worked for Visual Systems, focusing on animation & post.
His current position as Cinevation allows him to further develop his
technical skills while engaging in creative challenges.
Anna Lee
Design/Art Education Student

Anna Lee is currently a student
at the College of Fine Arts studying B Design/Art Education. Her piece
for exhibit is her HSC Textiles and Design major project, its design
evokes a reflection of the condition of the natural environment in our
industrialised society. Its form also draws inspiration from the goddesses
of nature in Eastern mythology.

Sai Ping Wong

Artist
Sai Ping Wong was
born in China in 1944. He has a thorough knowledge of Chinese art -
ink painting, seal carving, in particularly Chinese Calligraphy. And
some knowledge of traditonal Western Fine Arts.
He is a practising artist and tutor
of Chinese ink painting and calligraphy . Assistant tutor of calligraphy
and Chinese painting at Macquarie University, Australia.
